Stainless steel is not affected by ultraviolet rays and is lighter and more durable than FRP housings. Equivalent in operating pressure ratings to FRP housings (300psi), Stainless steel housings will not warp, crack or weep also a perfect fit for all male style membrane elements. Housings are sold complete with end plugs, end clamps and o-rings. Stainless Steel Membrane Housings accommodate any make of 4-inch nominal diameter spiral wound elements with a 3/4" diameter male product tube. Membrane interconnectors are sold separately.

WARNING: UPVC pressure vessels are limited to a maximum pressure of 300 psi (20 BAR) at 77℉ (25℃).Higher pressure, higher temperature or water hammer will lead to a premature failure. It is highly recommended that when these conditions exist, a pressure switch or relief valve be installed to protect the vessel.

RO Membrane Housing for Standard RO Membranes
  • The RO Membrane Housing can be used with most 11.75" to 12" reverse osmosis membrane elements.
  • This reverse osmosis membrane housing has a thicker body for stronger durability and stronger membrane cup design to prevent cracking.
  • The RO membrane housing has three standard 1/8” threaded ports. Please refer to the Instructions section for available fittings.
  • This Reverse Osmosis Membrane housing utilizes a flat gasket and an o-ring to ensure a true double o-ring seal. Other RO membrane housings lacking one o-ring will leak.
  • Bypass of Brine water to the Permeate side available, which is quite common on most other housings manufactured today.
  • The reverse osmosis membrane housing has been Tested and Certified by ISO for material and structural integrity requirements only.
