Significance of Minerals in Bottled Water

With our 15 years’ experience in the field of Water Bottling projects, we have engineered a state of art remineralization station that provides well balanced mineral water for our customers.
During the process of Reverse Osmosis, or RO for short, larger particles (like viruses and other impurities) are filtered out from the water, leaving pure water molecules to pass through. While there are many benefits to this process, the filter is so efficient that it also removes beneficial minerals like calcium, potassium, and magnesium. Removing these minerals can also leave the water tasteless.
However, it is clear that minerals were intended to be in our drinking water, as they are naturally occurring and are essential to our health. While certain foods can provide some of what we need, mineral-rich drinking water fills the gap between what we can consume from food and the daily recommended levels.
We know that we need calcium, magnesium, and other minerals to help us survive but we’ve also stated that the reverse osmosis process removes the water of its minerals.
So how do we reconcile the two?
WET have developed a proprietary mineralization station ‘Re-min Plus’ that adds back these essential minerals after the initial filtration and RO treatment stages.
How does it work?
RO treated water having very low minerals feed to this Re-min Plus system that proportionally add minerals in line with your recipe by ensuring right mineral composition. Re-min Plus System in-built automation and analyzers controls and ensures well balanced mineral blending to match your taste and good health standards.
